NEA-Retired Life Members who retired in any state and now live in Polk County, Florida are invited to enroll and participate in Polk Education Association Retired.
Important Note
In order to maintain your NEA insurance or loan you must become a member of FEA-Retired, which is included with your PEA-Retired membership, or be a NEA-Retired Life Member.

Signifies your commitment to stay involved in education after you retire from the schoolhouse.

Locks in your FEA/NEA Retired membership at 2022 rate which will never increase for you.

Guarantees the continuation of any NEA insurance and/or loans.
WHY NOW?
By enrolling now, you forego any future increase in FEA/NEA Retired dues. Saves you money in retirement because you are a paid up FEA/NEA Retired member once you do retire. Your one-time enrollment fee covers your membership for life. Upon your retirement you will be obligated to ONLY pay the dues of the retired local of which you become a member. Currently PEAR members who are enrolled as FEA/NEA Lifetime members pay annual dues of $12.00 as opposed to PEAR annual members who pay FEA/NEA dues plus local dues of $12.00 (annual dues are subject to change every year). If you move, your membership goes with you to your new location!
WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE AT WHICH I COULD RETIRE AS A LIFETIME MEMBER?
You can take advantage of your paid up FEA/NEA Lifetime members ship any time after you reach the age of 45 years!
WHAT IS THE CURRENT ENROLLMENT FEE?
Your one-time enrollment fee now would be $280 for ESP’S or $400 for teachers. That’s it forever regardless of any increase in FEA/NEA dues in the future.
